Travelli is the artist and author name for Steven Maddison, he is a storyteller, illustrator, and retired professional with a rich and varied career. Before dedicating himself to painting and writing, Steve worked as a public speaker, radio announcer, voice-over artist, and model.

Now living in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with his wife Jane and their three dogs, Steve enjoys a quieter pace of life filled with creativity and reflection. Together, he and Jane raised five daughters, a source of inspiration for many of his heartfelt children’s stories. As an author of both imaginative children’s books and practical self-improvement guides, Steve brings decades of experience, empathy, and storytelling charm to every project he touches.
